She-ra Season1 Region 2 DVD UK

Im in the U.K too.
It really p****s me off too that we seem to always get things years after its initial release in the states!

I think the USA has its share of frustrations as well. For instance, I love the show "The Bionic Woman" and it's an American show and it still hasn't been released in the States, but you guys in the UK and other countries have had it for a little over 2 years now! They're now projecting that a US release of the show will never happen, something to do with the rights or royalties. How is that fair?

What's odd is that they're always trying to come up with ways to prevent pirating or bootlegging, which I can understand since they receive no financial compensation for their product and they should get their due. But what recourse do fans have in a case like this where they want to do the right thing, they want to *buy* the product legally, but simply can't because they aren't allowed to? I've resisted buying a bootleg collection of the show for so long, figuring that sooner or later an official set would be released, but when you're told things are tied up in litigation and royalties, fans are almost forced to do the crooked thing if they want their show. Kind of stupid, isn't it?

In any case, "The Bionic Woman" is an *American* show and you'd think it'd see release in the USA first, but nope... "She-Ra, Princess of Power" is also an *American* show, and sensibly, it saw release here first, but at least you in the UK will eventually get the other releases that we've gotten.

I think it's just stupid that, with the internet, barriers of country and distance have basically been broken down. People from far away continents can interact with each other at the touch of a button, but products such as DVDs and CDs still act as if the barriers are somehow bigger, acting as if it's a justifiable reason to barricade a release from occurring in one country over the other.
