does anyone know the actors name who alicia witt's character met at the party, that her and her friend jennifer went to? i know ive seen him somewhere and cant remember where

I think you mean 'Tommy' who was playing the guitar or whatever in the stoner room. That's Jamie Kennedy.

That's Eric Mabius. You saw him as Steve the guitar player in Welcome to the Dollhouse. And maybe in a crappy Gregg Araki movie called Splendor.
