I thought the movie was watchable, but what ruined it for me was the boom mic <i>constantly</i> dropping in from the top of the screen. Why the hell didn't they fire that guy after the first scene? It seriously pops up in about thirty scenes, and it totally ruins the flow of the movie. And how did the camera operators and the director not catch it? I was baffled.
sharei totally agree lol the scene where serena is on the couch in the green dress, the mic keeps dropping down behind them. my only thought is they were all too stoned to notice haha

Why does it have to be the Boom Mic Operators fault... the camera man or the f'n Director couldve said something while they where filming
Of course it is the one who is looking through the camera that has to notice it, but if they are running and can't take a lot of takes the mic operator can't fail. Probabiliy it was both and also a low budget.

I don't find it annoying, the drooping mikes give you the right impression; this is a movie, not a real world thing.

I was once told that if your not constantly being told that you are in the shot then you are not doing a good job as a boom operator... it's the directors fault for not noticing it...
