What were they thinking with this one?

I can't believe I actually sat through the entire thing. Actually I would have cut it off but hubby wanted to finish watching it to see if it would get better. I like most of the actors in it but the movie just fell completely flat. A few humorous moments but overall I just didn't like the writing or direction and it was so boring it almost put me to sleep. Highlights- Andy Dick was pretty funny along with his sidekick, Brittany Murphy was kind of funny, Jack Black was funny for the small part he had and I liked the messages at the end when the credits were rolling. I thought Jamie Kennedy was funny when he was going off on "Serena". If you're looking for lots of laughs, this movie is not the one. I felt bad for the actors though because like I said, the writing and direction in my opinion, was not so good. Oh yeah, I laughed when I could see the microphone at the top of the screen when "Serena" and "David" were sitting on the couch talking. That was pretty funny. And to me, the serious parts were very awkward. I give it a D.
