Does anyone know what the deal is with the baby bottles in the coffee shop scenes? With milk in them, I'm assuming for coffee? Was that some west coast 90's thing I've never been aware of? Just curious...

I don't know about the west coast, but when I was in junior high school in NYC in the early 90's, there was a trend for kids to bring everything from juice to milk to soda to even alcohol to school in baby bottles. Not sure if the baby bottle trend was a national thing, or if this is also related to the trend from the same era to wear pacifiers on necklaces.

I've lived on the West Coast since 82 and I've never seen it in restaurants but I'm further up north. Maybe it was happening in Portland, IDK.
