'That was Demi Moore ...'

When Martin tells Anna Scott that "Ghost" was his favourite movie (thinking she had played the lead), she corrects him saying, "That wasn't me, that was Demi Moore."

I thought it would have been hilarious if Martin had instead chosen a film like Erin Brockovich or Runaway Bride, and Anna had said, "That wasn't me ... that was Julia Roberts."

THEN they ended up using a similar joke in Oceans 12 when Julia Roberts's character Tess tried to pass herself off as actress Julia Roberts!

The best part of that scene is when the guy says, "I'm sorry....I've always been a bit of an ass..."

That might have been too campy :)

Better choices for films might have been Pretty Woman, or My Best Friend's Wedding, had they chosen this route (as the two you mentioned came out after this film).

I think the point was to emphasize that while there are multitudes who immediately recognize an actress such as Anna, there are equally many who do not. Reminds me of the slaves who rode behind the Roman Generals during their victory lauding, who whisper in their ear "This too shall pass"....

Yeah that actually would have been better.
