Remake
It's not mentioned in the "connections" area, but Heartbreakers is pretty much a remake of the 1941 film "Play Girl".
The two films are fairly equal in star power.
Instead of Sigourney Weaver, we have Kay Francis.
The old millionaire is Nigel Bruce (Dr. Watson to Rathbone's Sherlock)
Most hilarious is Margaret Hamilton (the wicked witch herself), as Francis' maid/confidante.
I saw it on Turner Classic Movies this week. It's worth a watch if you like Heartbreakers.
