Ummmmmmmmmm.......... ...

Was that supposed to be a "happy" ending?? Yes the guy gets his good name restored and has all of his FINANCIAL losses fixed including getting his store back ok fine BUT.......

He was technically DIVORCED. Jen's character was his EX wife and it was a VERY bitter divorce at that, are they supposed to get remarried or something?

And let's be generous, even if he can forgive her for everything that has happened AND remarry her there is ONE very very VERY big problem here. He has HAD SEX with her MOTHER. What man can EVER live that down?? I could never have a relationship with a woman after having sex with her mother and on top of that wasn't he technically RAPED??? I mean she had sex with him while he was incapicitated. So what kind of a "mother in law son in law" relationship is he supposed to have with her mother since she is his rapist and even if its not rape its still the fact that they had sex. That is NOT something that can be gotten over.

If I was that man and in the fictional universe of the film after that final scene I would have thanked her politely for restoring my good name and my livelyhood then if she made ANY attempt at affection or ANY attempt to even hint at restoring our relationship in some form I would say to her: "You are NOT my wife, you are my EX wife, and it boot it was a VERY short marriage and a VERY bitter divorce, and I have been raped by your mother. I never want to see you again, you are banned from my establishment and if you came anywhere near me I will file a restraining order against you".

I do not think I could ever love ANYONE enough to get past the circumstances of this story.

He DID NOT have sex with her mother. She slipped a mickey into his drink. He passed out on the bed and the mom made it look as if they were having sex so Paige could discover them and be outraged by the "cheating." Of course he could argue that he didn't remember having sex with her, but because of the drug he also wouldn't remember NOT having sex with her. Either way, just finding them in bed like they were about to do something was grounds enough for divorce.

@OP: The mother said that the spiked drink made him more manageable and it was made to look like they were having sex. But I doubt that in that intoxicated condition with all that guilt Jack could have a hard on.

Apart from people getting hooked and reunited, the best part of the happy ending was Max and Dean trying to con Barbara to get their lost money back.

If she had committed a sexual act with him having spiked his drink then that's date rape and not cheating. I think it's obvious though that nothing happened. It's also quite possible that the paper work hadn't yet gone through regarding the divorce. These things take time even in 'amicable' settlements. The agreement has to be drawn up and it still has to be annulled by the courts which takes time. They could easily have put the brakes on the whole thing.

That's the only thing you think makes them a screwed up family?
