Back in the USSR scene
Don't get me wrong, I loved this movie. But, I hated the USSR scene. It was just kind of idiotic and it wasn't funny. Does anyone agree with me on this?

shareNope. That was rather funny :)
Da... Da... Da... The only russian word she knew.
I tell you, as the russian one: that was a scene for russians :)
Most of the Russians don't even guess that the song is about USSR. ;-)
shareAre you the spokesperson for "most" Russians in the world? Just because you maybe didn't get it doesn't' mean that no one else did.

"Most" mean that someone maybe get it, especially someone from the USA. :) But most of the Russians are living in the Russia and don't speak English.
shareTrust me, almost everyone one in Russia knows The Beatles song "Back in the U.S.S.R.", so they get it.

I thought it was one of the funniest things in the movie.
shareI agree. It was one of my least favorite scenes in the entire movie ... at least the part where they're actually singing. I guess part of the reason is b/c I didn't start to appreciate the Beatles until after I saw this movie. I still think Back in the USSR is a pretty weak song.
shareI thought it was the best part of the movie! I had to hide under my sheets when she made up the words for the first song......I couldn;t stop cringing (in a good way of course!) and I thought Sigourney was excellent singing that song!
shareDreamWeaver, I have to agree with you on this one, it truly was the best scene in Heartbreakers! (among some of the Sigourney scenes but still) I too think that Sigourney's performance was unbelievably funny and still sooo fantastic! She pulls off everything she does.
Although the scene kinda gave me the creeps, and sometimes I was a bit embarrassed for "Olga" for her being all Da Da, it was awesome to hear the actress singing.
The biggest reason for me to watch this movie was Sigourney's appearance of course. Surprisingly I came to like it! It just is so funny, but waayyy too much underrated.
She's not just making up words. All the things she says are places in Russia and when she runs out of them, she says I am just fooling!
shareNo, that scene is one of my favourites! Hilarious, and so well performed! =D
"My family tried to kill me, you pathetic meatsack."
I love that scene. I love the acting and the seducing moves. Well performed.
shareda da da moscow da da da leningrad da da da
I loved it,especially how she says NEVER in russian accent.
No,but I'm sure TOMATOES does
