Only $2,000...for a Dir. cut DVD!
Someone out there, please put this back into print. We just want the movie, that's it. I wish I'd picked this up when I saw it for only $22.
On the other hand, on helluva flick.

I could just kick myself, I had this movie along with Very Bad Things and one other that I can't remember the name of, I taped them myself from my cable network and someone borrowed them and of course I never got it back. If I had of known then what I know now that movie would have never left my house. It might not be worth anything, but I would have had it for my own veiwing pleasure.
shareGet at region free player (with pal conversion) and order the dvd from dvdoo.dk. Saves you like $1800.

just wanted to let everyone know that i've in fact ordered one of these copies from ebay and that's just what they are; copies. i didn't really expect to get an actual legit dvd for only $25 (which is what i ended up spending), but i wanted to let everyone know these are DVD5 rips of the original movie, and i've never physically been able to look at one of the original Thursday disks to see how large the movie with the other features actually comes out to be. the quality is great and i'm satisfied to have any available that isn't going to lose quality over the years like my VHS copy. anyway thought i'd try to help. :D
shareI got ripped off on ebay, and got a copy for 29 $. I had to report him and eventually got a refund, and I kept the bootleg. I then turned aroudn and used this refund money, and found the real thing for 50 $, though I have seen them go for over 100 before. I am 99% certain I have a legit copy.

Thursday is on DVD in Germany Uncut WIdescreen with English and German audio. I bought it at an import site for $29.95.
shareHOLY SH**. I come to check up on this movie, I want to see it because I havent seen it in forever. 2000 ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I guess I just have to download it from a ********* site.
shareI recently got it from the Danish site mentioned earlier in this thread for about 16 Euros. It runs 84 mins in PAL format which would be equivalent to about 87 mins in NTSC or theatrical speed, in which case i guess it's the uncut version.
Has anybody seen and compared the two versions to confirm the missing/added footage to the movie?
geez...i just came here to read about this movie to see what people think about it coz tis on tv tonight here in australia at 12:30 am...must be pretty good, i spose i'll tape it and watch it tomorrow!
shareyeah just finished taping and watching this film, its was on at 12.30am Australian time. Ive seen this film a few times before but its one that has always entertained me and has been one of my favourites, Im surprised its so ellusive to buy and that its not readily available on dvd, because its definitely a film I would buy.
shareSame here. I was flicking between channels last night and missed the first 15 or so minutes of the film, but the rest I found really entertaining. Shame it is so rare on DVD, I was hoping to pick up a copy.
shareWhat are people talking about, $1000 - $2000 for a dvd movie? surely this is a misprint? the movies pretty cool, but no movie in the world is worth more then maybe $50, so if anyone could shed some more light on this i would be grateful.
It is a pretty cool movie, but when you can tape it from tv for free why would anyone spend an obsene amount of money to buy it....i'm confused.
That woman deserves her revenge... and we deserve to die.
The reason it sells for so much is it is a short print dvd.
shareno wonder it's a short print if idiots would charge that much, what a pile of *beep* when you can download it or hire it & burn so easily - retarded

$2000 is an exxageration. This movie goes for between $50- $100. I got a copy for nearly 50. You ask who would pay that much? DVD collectors will pay big bucks for movies. When you say no movie is worth more than 50$, are you saying to you, or there isnt any? Because there surely is. I guess you dont know about the rare dvds. Ever heard of Criterion? They have many titles that fetch big bucks. The Criterion edition of Salo is one of the rarest dvd ever, sought after collectors. It usually sells for at least $300, and just recently it sold for $685
so either you mean to you no movie is worht more than 50, or you just plain dont know about how rare and collectible some movies can be

you have a point about collectors n stuff, but i personally would never pay over 50 for any dvd movie, like i said it so easy to copy any digital media, so it will never be rare if enough people want it...people who pay 685 for a dvd are probably the same morons who would pay $100,000 for a personalised number plate or diamond encrusted cell phone...people who could feed an entire African village but prefer to waste money on self indulgent material *beep*

yea I hear ya. I think of some of them as good investments. Also if you know what to look for, you can find some movies cheap in the store, then sell them online for like double or more what you paid, and flip your money. Me personally, I prefer a real thing to a copy, but I hear what your saying. to each his own.

Wow I had no idea this movie was so hard to find. I feel really lucky cause I got a copy today from Blockbuster today for only $10 :)
sharelol, in Brazil i bought it for $4,99.
shareWhy buy it when you can download it for free??
shareim glad it's not 2004 anymore, and this movie is now instant streaming on netflix
sharejust watched it for free on youtube, since they relaxed their standards and put it under "restricted community standards" ... I thought that was Aaron Eckhardt as the guy getting raped in a chair by his ex-girlfriend ... unbelieveable. I looked up the movie to confirm on imdb.com and saw this discussion. It's an OK movie, but not worth to me much more than $10. Original copies don't impress me, but then I'm not a collector either. To each his own.
