Eh. Theres far more possibilities for that bullet to NOT hit Casey, than for it to hit him. For one thing, youd need the two heads to be aligned just right, which isnt necessarily a given with all that up and down, if you catch my drift. Secondly, Youd need the right ammunition. Not to mention, youd need that bullet to go through an entire skull, thats skin, bone, brainmatter, bone, skin (and more), without significantly altering its course. Lastly, the shooter would have to be positioned in just the right place (straight line behind the couple).
So no, Billy didnt have to be a great shot to NOT hit both.
I might be wrong about this - But I am pretty sure that the human skull is REALLY damn hard. And a bullet might not even be able to pierce through someones skull when they are shot in the head. I have read this somewhere. Do you think that there is validity to this claim?
Not really. Especially as Billy shot her through the back or side of the head where the skull is softer anyway. Apart from putting a gun right to your temple and pulling the trigger (so sometimes it doesn't penetrate your skull) otherwise you are likely to pierce the skull. Billy's pistol seems high enough calibre bullets to do so. i might be wrong though
I agree with the last 2 posts. I assumed Casey didn't get hit cos either Dallas was shot in the side of the head, or she was shot in the back of the head, but cos her head was higher up than Casey's cos she was on his lap, meant that he just copped the spray of blood but not the bullet.
