you all do realise that prostituton is legal to an extent in the netherlands and many other countries eg. Australia and ?conincidentally? the crime rate in these countries is far lower than in America, UK etc. Straightovideo hit the nail on the head (excuse the pun) here with his analysis that prostitution is a dangerous game when it is run by criminals and immorale people, but when legalised there is chance for a screening process for identification, age verification and health issues making it much safer all around for those involved. Prostitution is legal in Holland. Illegal in the States, so economically speaking it's easy to understand why it's more expensive.
