Yeah, that's because of the sex slave industry, pervert! Holland and most of Europe and Asia are plagued by the sex slave industry. Little teenage girls are abducted and forced to prostitute themselves to sick perverts like you!

reply

Most prostitutes in the Netherlands are 18-30 year old woman from Eastern Europe dude!
They come here to make money they are not sex slaves!
They choose to have sex for money because its fast cash.

And how do you know that for certain? 18 years olds can sometimes be confused for 14 year olds and vice versa. Some 14 year old girls do look older than their actual age. Some look 18 or even 20 due to a quick development. Also, the sex slave industry also enslaves 25 to even 30 year old women if they look attractive enough. It's more rare, but it does happen. Regardless, prostitution is a disgusting act. It's immoral and it tempts married men to engage in adultery. Most of these women probably were sexually abused growing up. Or some of them are forced to be prostitutes because they are poor and have no money. It's a demeaning occupation and I think the men that pay for it are disgusting pigs!

Kobe Tai (the Asian prostitute who had the freak accident) was pretty much a prostitute in real life (porn star). The vice trade is a very ugly trade indeed, it is steeped in sleaze and drug abuse, with women often having mental health issues of some sort and have largely been sexually/physically abused when children.

@gregforttmags

porn and prostitution are not the same thing

Participants are still getting paid for sex and they're just in slightly different degrees of, shall we say, compromise. And when pornography sales on DVD has levelled off/slowly dropping in recent years in reaction to vastly better online video streaming, porno DVDs are today more like promotional material for porno starlets who do stripping and prostitution to make their real money.

Dreamwarrior your saying prostitution is disgusting?
So what your saying is that the rape rate is too low.

Davy-040, so what you are saying is that if a man isn't allowed to pay for sex legally, he is more likely to go out and rape an unwilling female? Is that what your saying? You now what I think! I think you lack logic and reasoning skills.

reply

"Our boys" in Iraq and Afghanistan must go through a lot local hookers; the Japanese soldiers in WWII called them "comfort women". Its not nice or pretty, but it lets off steam.

Ummm...Comfort Women were kidnapped women from Korea who were often gang raped and, when sent home, were socially ostracized to the point of suicide for many.

That said, I do not think prostitution is wrong. It is dangerous because it is illegal, not illegal because it is dangerous. The primary difference between a sports star and a porn star is gender. No one has ever hired a porn star because of her intelligence or ability to discuss the short fiction of Gogol and no one has ever hired a quarterback because he can diagram a sentence. I would never visit a prostitute, and I think the whole thing is gross, but I do not think it is out and out wrong.

oh my... its dreamweaver again...

Well, I have to say, I disagree and agree. First of all, I do agree with the sex slave thing... maybe the OP doesn't realize, even if they aren't ALL sex slaves, the legitimate working girls have to compete with the sex slaves for price and all that... so they drive the prices down.

But, human trafficking and prostitution are two separate issues. Sometimes they are interrelated, but sometimes democracy and genocide are interrelated, too. And here is the conundrum with your comments, Dreamweaver... If you want to curb/stifle the sex slave industry, the most effective way would be to legalize prostitution and then the prostitutes need proper working papers/ID/etc... in order to work. The legitimate working women will quickly inform authorities of the illegals, because: A. they are in a legal profession now, with nothing to hide, and B. the sex slaves are bad for business - low wages, bad reputation, spread diseases, etc..

I also want to pose, is all casual sex bad? If a man buys a woman a $200 dinner, Opera tickets, cocktails, maybe a limo ride, and pays for a room at the Hilton... that is ok to do for sex because we call it a date? If he gives her the money so she can pay for her car insurance, rent, childcare, healthcare, college tuition, etc.. then he is a disgusting pig?

As far as tempting married men to engage in adultery, I do not see the correlation and I would be interested in any real data on the subject. Does most adultery occur with prostitutes? Not secretaries?

Overall, i find it off-putting that you inject this sanctimonious tone into the argument. Sex slaves and human trafficking is a bad thing. I don't think anyone disagrees with that. I also do not pay for sex, but that is a personal choice... mostly a personal rule of thumb. I've known plenty of men who do not have to pay for sex, but chose to do so because it makes it a purely physical thing. That is their prerogative. I have problems with women being treated like meat, fed into addiction, or pushed into bondage - but if they choose to have sex for money, I could really care less. They won't be having sex with me (well, maybe they will, but not for money.) I still do not see the need to get judgmental about the issue and put down people who do things differently than I do (if all parties involved are consenting adults - and no one gets hurt.)

It was Kobe Tai though. I'd say that she undercharged.

Escorts are often very attractive and clean (although not always). They typically do not have JUST sex and receive most of their work from business men with quite a bit of money.

Ever see business men in a restaurant or casino with EXTREMELY attractive women without a ring on their finger? Guaranteed that's an escort. They are simply company for an entire night and will gamble, have dinner, have drinks, chat with the guys friends, etc. Of course it is capped off at the end of the night with sex, but a lot of the money is spent elsewhere.

Agencies will usually charge quite a bit for providing the girl, and then of course there is additional pricing on top of using them as a point of contact. Think of it as a service charge for using their connections, and then you have to pay the price for the girl on top of it. Top of the line escorts that are extremely attractive and have a good track record with business men can typically run well over $1,000 a night.

In this movie, Kobe Tai was pricing $500 for straight sex outside of an agency. That's generally rather pricey, however, Kobe is quite hot in real life, so I wouldn't be shocked if she could demand that price and get away with it.

This all being said, I have never used an escort and prostitutes. Information can be found by just asking and searching around.

I'm not a bit surprised to see some braindead politcally correct trolls here.
Slavegirls in Europe? That's fabulous, that's rich, the joke is amusing.
And I do agree that USD 500 is way overpriced for a straight sex. In Germany, you can have a same quality girl for as little as EUR 100.

No, cows are much cheaper and generally not used for sex.

Maybe not $500.00 hot, but I'd say fancy dinner at a 3 1/2 Star joint hot.

you all do realise that prostituton is legal to an extent in the netherlands and many other countries eg. Australia and ?conincidentally? the crime rate in these countries is far lower than in America, UK etc. Straightovideo hit the nail on the head (excuse the pun) here with his analysis that prostitution is a dangerous game when it is run by criminals and immorale people, but when legalised there is chance for a screening process for identification, age verification and health issues making it much safer all around for those involved. Personally I've never had to pay for sex though so I don't see the appeal...

that prostitution is a dangerous game when it is run by criminals and immorale people,

Ditto when criminals move into drug dealing and bootlegging when those commodities are declared illegal.

Prostitution is legal in Holland. Illegal in the States, so economically speaking it's easy to understand why it's more expensive.

She was a high-end hooker as well, you can get a bj from a crack whore for like 10 bucks in the inner-cities in the States.

Las Vegas?

reply

And those were supposedly 1998 prices!
She probably charged that much because she thought he could afford it, being in a luxury suite as they were. The working girls are there to make money and try to get as much as they can. They know men will part with a LOT of money if they are drunk and horny. Common sense and frugality oft go out the window when the "little head" is doing the thinking.

As a side note, brothels are NOT legal in Las Vegas nor in Clark county (google Prostitution in Nevada) neither is prostitution. The closest LEGAL brothels are about an hour's drive outside of Vegas in Pahrump located in Nye county. (Guys, lose those receipts from that "sports bar" in Pahrump or use cash)

For those that are curious, Sheri's is probably the most upscale but is also the most expensive (about $300/15 min. 2011 prices and goes up from there).
They have a sex "menu" on their website for prices and services rendered.

Usually you can also find coupons on the websites to help drum up business during our challenging economic times.

However, they have a full bar and an "Old West" style saloon and it only costs a couple bucks for a coke or a beer and the pretty girls will come and talk to you for free. They will even give you a free tour of the country club-like facilities, no obligation. They are highly regulated by the state and EXTREMELY safe sex is mandatory (condoms, no kissing, even rubber gloves if you want to touch anything intimate). The place is HUGE and the girls are very attractive and eager to please. They have something for ALL tastes, as long as it's legal.

That being said, Vegas, like almost all towns, has its share of ILLEGAL prostitution, attactive girls working the casino floors, hustling up business for about $300 appx. (since the girls are "free agents" the price is usually negotiable). There are also TONS of paid "escorts" but sex is probably "extra" and costs a lot more, just like in the movie.

Although in the Vegas city limits it is technically illegal, the police usually look the other way but "officially" the law is enforced.

Vegas kinda has its "own" rules and as long as no one gets hurt, the police usually don't get involved.
