stupidest movie ever...

People killing other people like they order a coke, too much yelling, a brother killing his brother, the bride killing a guy, and all of that *beep* with light hearted music, oh was that supposed to be funny?

Such a high note for so much crap, god...Totally lame from beginning to end.

Yeah I just watched that. Not very good. I don't know how this cast can watch this or even admit to being part of this thing.

It was decent until Christian Slater's character killed the wife and brother. They already told her that her husband slept with a prostitute so they were covered and had nothing to gain by killing her. Killing her just became a cheap, easy way to keep the story going. I think it could have been a good movie if they at least tried to make all the deaths accidental or totally somewhat necessary (like the security guard).

The movie is awesome. Its a dark, black comedy. Yes, the things they do in the movie are questionable, but people die and are murdered in real life everyday. Thought it was a funny movie, not to be taken too seriously. Also very unique.

When I first saw this, I thought the folks who made it were nuts. Then I saw it for what it was...way over the top dark comedy. Just on that alone, you can't take it seriously and it becomes so bad, that it's rather terribly funny.

Just because you can, doesn't mean that you should.

Totally agree with the OP. One of the worst movies I've ever seen, with some good acting from Stern and Piven. No funny parts. No one to root for. Who would let their friend kill their other friend and do nothing about it? pathetic story.

reply

Yes, I likewise OP-agree. To be a dark comedy, a film has to be funny, not simply stupid.
"Also very unique." No, Hollywood, strung out on coke, has churned out thousands of similar flicks everyday simply to make money.

Haven't you ever seen Dateline, 48 Hours or 20/20?? *beep* happens all the time

Those are news shows not entertainment.

In a twisted way, it is a morality lesson. If the law or karma doesn't get you, your conscience will drive you mad. You never really get away with it.
