Why is Cartman's voice getting deeper, when we have Autotune?

I know that animated characters' voices go through character development as their voices change throughout the course of a long-running series. But when their voices change as a result of Father Time, such as in Trey Parker's case, couldn't he simply use Autotune?

Maybe he is having Cartman hit puberty

I feel like all the boys voices are getting deeper but mostly Stan and cartman

Its called pitch shift. Auto-tune is for people that can't sing, of for effect :) It's not the pitch in their voices that had changed, they are just getting older.

Yeah, and I hate it.

He sounds too "intelligent". His recent voice reminds me of Draco Malfoy in the 2nd Harry Potter film.
