Not for me. Check your audio/copy.
shareDidn't notice it with Cartman, but something did sound off with Stan. Might have something to do with the fact that they don't give themselves enough time to write and produce an episode each week.
sharePlus they (Matt and Trey) are getting older. Voices still change even into late adulthood. Compare this season to like s6 and you'll hear a noticable difference
shareI totally noticed it with Stan. It seems to be just this season that his voice sounds different. All up until the beginning of this season he had the same voice and now all of a sudden it's different. I thought it might be part of the story. I don't know...it's weird.
shareTrey's not consistent with the inflections. I think he's just exhausted or phoning it in at this point. He's also noticeable fatter and that does affect voice quality.
shareHe's put on a few pounds but that wouldn't change his voice noticeably. And Trey and Matt bust their humps on the show. The day they start having apathy for their work is the day they quit.
And Stan's voice wasn't drastically different, maybe some subtle changes but it was nothing to make me do a double take.
Cartman's voice started to sound "weird" since like 2008. He started to sound more "normal" with an articulate and deeper voice - Totally not a fan. I prefer his whiny, bombastic voice from the early seasons, and you gotta miss that infamous "AH!". RIP.
shareI watched the new episode last night, and Cartman sounds a lot different, and it's hard for me to watch.
