did y'all catch SP's global warming nod?


23 minutes into the show, while rotating POV to Denmark, the polar north is shown ice free blue. except for minor remnants closer to canada, and stubbornly white greenland. editorial comment or what?

It is common in Sept for sea ice to get pushed against N Greenland, with the rest ice free. There are old pictures (google) of submarines at the pole with no ice in sight. There have always been climate cycles, the arctic may get cold again.

I like the way 1979 is used a a measuring stick. 1979 was the worst winter in a century. In 1979 the same envirocommie Chicken Littles were panicking over the dawn of a new ice age. Of course, their solution was the same: less industry and more Government regulation.
