Since they were both born wearing nappies.O, right. There's no way the midwife droid could've possibly clothed each baby as soon as each baby exited the birth canal. I'm guessing the scene was shot and edited in such a way that the answer to the question was effectively omitted. But also suspect that whatever the droid was speaking had something to do with identifying the sexes of the babies.
