Best of the prequels

I personally feel its the best Star Wars movie because we get to learn more of the mythos.

I kind of agree in a "so bad it's good way." There's so much random stupid stuff that I end up cracking up when I watch it (as opposed to AotC, which I find to be just boring).

Best of the prequels, 2nd best in the entire series.

Best of the prequels, and my favorite SW film overall.

Yeah, of all the prequels, this is the best of the three. It falls short compared to Return of the Jedi (the least but still excellent in the original trilogy) and perhaps The Force Awakens (which I thought was really good), but having said that it still runs circles around both The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones.

It's not perfect, though; there are some moments that feel a bit too cartoonish and Haydn Christiensen, while better overall in this movie, still does hit some false notes, but mostly during the opening half of the film and in most of his scenes with Padme (again, they're the weakest part of the movie, "I'm so in love with you", but thankfully, they don't dominate the film). Ian McDiarmid easily makes this movie worth watching, both when he seduces Anakin AND when he goes all out insane.

But the acting is still better overall in this film and the last half, especially, does a fine job of connecting the dots.

Revenge of the Sith is no great Star Wars movie, but it's still the only prequel worthwhile.

Or, some piles of junk look better that other piles of junk.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
