Questions nobody has answered. (spoilers)

If Laura is Kay's daughter where the hell was she the past 25 years after she was born?? Even if shes not Kay's daughter its still a pretty good question. We never see Kay or her mother with her as a baby. Im assuming that Laura's mother who was killed 25 yrs ago when Serleena was first there looking for the light had already given birth to Laura. Im also guessing when Kay fired off that rocket out of the silo and said "you want it, go get it" that it was just a decoy and Serleena didnt bother to come back for another 25 years when she realized she had been dooped? They also dont explain what happened to Kay and his wife after he went back to her at the end of MIB. I also hate how short this movie was and so very little if any at all of character development. Anyways, anyone have any guesses or opinions to any of the questions i've raised? Thanks!
