the dweebs here that are ripping on this movie because of one thing or another - its an action - COMEDY its based on a freakin' comic book. I saw it again today - haven't seen it since it came out - and thought it was really hilarious a lot funnier than I remembered - guess you "critics" don't understand the various forms of humor including nuance and satire. It's a fun movie with tongue planted very firmly in cheek... its funny and sure a lot better than most of the crap released today under the guise of humor. Chill out and don't take life so seriously. damn already.

I guess it wasn't realistic enough for most people.. lol

I don't think it's near as bad as many have pronounced it to be. I was disappointed that the story borrowed too heavily from the original, but I did like the little love story worked into it and thought Will Smith and Rosario Dawson had a nice chemistry between them. The alien effects weren't as thrilling, in part, because they'd used the best ideas in the original, so it was going to be tougher to thrill an audience as much the second time around. Seems harsh for anyone to be calling it one of the worst sequels ever though.
