Huge plot holes???? Rewatching it again

1. Why does it seem like no one else in the area seem to know what's going on?
For example, the beginning of the movie. Jeff shoots straight up 600 feet long, and even throws J into a fruit stand. Yet cars seem to pass by like nothing happened. I understand that they have Secret Services and that they clear everything up but I mean, really? After the event the cars would have been long gone.

2. No one is in the station at 81st street?? We see people walking down but no one is walking on the tracks. NO ONE.

3. As J said, the entire New York City saw the explosions after Sterlina was destroyed. So what about their memories?

The first movie was drama with a lot of comedy, but this is 100% comedy

Plot holes? Maybe continuity and special fx issues, sure. It's a movie that isn't resetting the standard for truth in media. Much suspension of belief is required. Enjoy.

Don't have an answer for your first two questions, but as for the third, you must have missed the part where K pushes a button on his watch and the Statue of Liberty is activated as a giant neurolysor.

1. I think they're playing on the notion that New Yorkers are so jaded that they don't notice things. Like with the worm going past the people in the subway.

2. Continuity

3. Statue of Liberty was a neuralyzer.

Crouton! Crouton! Crunchy friends in a liquid broth.
