Why not on Netflix?
I've been watching the TV show X-Files on Netflix but finished season five and refuse to go on to season six before seeing this movie. Yet its not on Netflix. Anyone know where I can see it?

-Something that starts soon and looks good.
Yeah, Netflix really dropped the ball on this one. They licensed the entire series for streaming, but didn't acquire the movie which bridges two seasons and completes the mytharc. A movie that isn't in demand from anyone but the niche audience that is trying to revisit The X Files... it's a movie that's 20 years old and wouldn't have cost Netflix very much.
Instead I just went and got the torrent, and I'm give their app a rest for awhile. Their loss.
It almost seems like their choice in content is picked at random or by a robot or something.
Only a matter of time before Netflix starts making its own sci-fi and we its recommendations of such all over its home screen.
I couldn't believe when I read his filmography that he played a toilet (no joke) in According to Jim
OP, I recommend a rental on Amazon... under three bucks or something. But yea, I am also disappointed they didn't have it on Netflix.
Netflix has to deal with licensing issues and things. Because this was a feature film, there might have been politics involved to stream on Netflix. That's my only guess. You guys are right though, people will want to watch this if thy are re-visiting the x-files. I myself and a new generation fan (26 years old), the x-files was on when I grew up but I never watched it. I was a little young for it. Now with the season 10 reboot on Fox I wanted to go back and watch them all again.
I'm about to watch it now on Amazon after finishing season five. 1998, here we come!
