Finally got to see this.
I have wanted to see this movie for years and years.
Finally got it on DVD. But it's not in widescreen. Was there ever a version done in widescreen or are all prints of this 4:3 full frame?

Oh btw I loved it. Was a fun movie
shareI'm glad you enjoyed it. I like it too.
Yes, the film was shot in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio, & has been released in both formats. The US region 1 copy has a release that is a flipper disc which has both versions. I'm not too familiar with other copies, sorry.
Just because Randy Pigford says he is superior to the Alien films doesn't make it fact
Mine was a R1 purchased from Amazon. No double sided disk........
Not that it matters but a widescreen version would have been better.
Was this the first movie where people have thought of attacking Vampires in daylight while they sleep? I'm surprised no one else ever thought to do that.
Just got to see it myself, been wanting to see it for a long time as a big fan of John Carpenter's earlier films. Saw it commercial free on Encore Avenue and I can assure you that the widescreen is really excellent; Carpenter got some of the best shots of his career in this movie.
No this isn't the first vampire story to feature people attacking vampires in daylight while they sleep. That has been featured in many vampire movies before...it's clearly the best time to slay them!
^ ^ Any movies you can recommend?
