Kudos should go to the cast...
Apparently they all hated this film, but they made it look like they were having a blast making it.
How you can make the world a better place:
Don't shop at Wal-Mart.
Shatner and his gang had three first rate movies the TNG gang only had one good film .

The difference is that TNG cast all really got along and genuinely like one another. It was a family atmosphere. That really helped get them through some of the tougher productions like Nemesis where everyone hated the director. TOS cast seemed to get along okay professionally--though half of them hate(d) Shatner--but that same level of camaraderie seems to be lacking.
