I had no idea this was DePalma

I guess the anti-military tone should have been a clue, but that doesn't exactly narrow down the Hollywood field in terms of directors.

I thought this would be a harmless way to kill a couple hours, and the movie started off pretty well. I was thinking it might come in at 6/10. But wow, does it derail fast. The latter two-thirds of the movie is ever-deteriorating garbage. I cannot believe the scene in the stairwell with Cage and the girl was ever written, approved, filmed, edited, and released upon the public. And that's just one of many.

By the time the film was over, the only question was: why did Cage and Sinise agree to do this turd of a movie? I can only imagine they were conned into it by DePalma, or perhaps he has blackmail material on them.

Atrocious. 3/10.

I not a complete film snob, but DePalma sort of has lacked any relevance. When this came out 10 years ago, I don't think I heard his name mentioned very much.

I'm open! There's just nothing in there!

I saw this on my hotel. I immediately knew it was a de Palma film. It had his style written all over. Oh come on, it wasn't that bad. The fact that you gave it a 3, means there is hope. Ok the ending was bad. What I hated was the inappropriate scoring. I had no idea it was from Academy Award winner, Ryuichi Sakamoto. Bleeh!!! To be fair, the soundtrack was good outside this film.
