was this song made for the film, because the lyrcs have several references to the film, such as "snake eyes", "a drowning man doe not die quietly", and being the king of Atlantic city

The song is titled "Sin City," and is performed by Meredith Brooks.

It is featured on the soundtrack to the movie.

Yes, that amazing song at the end ("Sin City") was written expressly for the movie by the singer herself, the wonderfully talented Meredith Brooks, who is also a friend of SNAKE EYES director Brian De Palma.
