Insane 13-minute opening shot!!!!

Although there's some obvious hidden cuts, the opening shot to this film is spectacular! Goes through the entire assassination from Santoro's perspective and travels all through out the arena. De Plama at his best! I didn't even know it was one shot till I saw the film for a third time last night.

I'll always remember this film for one reason and one reason only> I happen to live near Atlantic City and with my work schedule and where I live I don't get to see how many films are made-I am also not in the business.I was there the night they did the hurricane scene.I found it totally fascinating watching the opening scene on the boardwalk.
The scene where the reporter was out on the boardwalk talking about the upcoming fight and the really bad storm was in prohress.
It happened to be a clear night. They used huge water cannons and fans to create the storm effect.
It was filmed outside Trump's Taj Mahal casino and they made the outside facade of his theatre on the boardwalk to look like the theatre in the film.
Many of the casino scenes were filmed inside the Taj Mahal casino.I actually know somebody who worked as an extra on the film.
I don't know why they didn't use Boardwalk Hall further down the Boardwalk.I guess Trump and his ego wanted it filmed at his casino.
Ok,so this probably would not be a thrilling experience for a lot of people. But as I said,I don't get to witness stuff like this often.
It was also fascinating to watch how the storm scene played out on film.It was incredible to see how the storm scene really did look like a bad storm.I have this video for this one reason.
BTW,there is no Neptune High in AC-it's known as Atlantic City High School.
