Long Shot!!

Does anyone think the long shot at the start is great. Although there is only 2 cuts it still looks great but it would be even better without any cuts. Who agrees?

Classic De Palma tracking shot! I agree, it would have been even better without any cuts. Pretty hard to shoot the whole thing without any cuts.

There are actually something like 8 different parts edited together to make that scene.

It's a great scene though. Reminiscinant of the long one shots that were done in a lot of great movies.

One that comes to mind is the restaurant scene with Henry walking Karen through the hallways into the kitchen and then into the dining room in Goodfellas. Great scene.
