Whats the meaning of the title?
Hi, can anyone explain what is the meaning of this title please, and what is the link with the movie?
Snake eyes refers to having two sets of ones, the same shape as the eyes of a snake. As in having the lowest score and nothing to play with on the craps table. That`s what happens to Cage´s character in the end, to either give up the girl or becoming a hero and thus being thrown in the media spotlight to have all your corruption come to the open. He saves the girl but looses everything...

shareI dont think the title refers to Cage's character in the end, i think its Sinise's character who has "Snake Eyes" and has no way out at the end so he shoots himself.
I think they actually reference the title in the scene where he views the video and finds out that its Sinise's character who's behind the conspiracy. They have an argument and Sinise is trying to convince Cage that he should take the money.
And at the end when the police have their guns aimed at Sinise, Cage turns around and just says "Snake Eyes" or something like that. Maybe someone can confirm because i cant remember the exact words.
He says "Ya got snake eyes" ...and I think it's actually true for both characters...the cost of what takes place in the story for both of them is that they both roll snake eyes in the end.
