About the alternative ending
I don't think the actual ending really works. Unfortunately, because, apart from that, it's a great movie.
I think he should have stuck with the alternative flooding ending.
The alternate ending is featured in the new documentary, "De Palma", and I HIGHLY agree that it should have been the ending of the movie and not the ending that De Palma chose.
