You must be really fvcking stupid if you think Paul WS Anderson's Resident Evil movies are good. Those movies were shlt.

This franchise is my ultimate guilty pleasure. Granted I never played a RE game in full, so it doesn't bother me that it's not loyal to the games. And no, I don't think these are good films - they're ridiculous, they don't make sense, each entry contradicts each other, the dialogue is awful, the characters are 1-dimensional. But I can't help it, they just entertain me - they all look visually good, the action is fun, the sci-fi elements are ridiculously ott but cool to watch, the monsters are cool and the cast all do good jobs with little they have to work with. And yes Milla Jovovich just carries these films. I'm just so grateful this franchise lasted as long as it did and we'll be getting a final movie to round it up.

While some of them haven't been as good as the others I have enjoyed all the Resident Evil movies so far and I got a box set of them on Amazon last year with the entire 5 movies in it and have been watching them again.

I am looking forward to the Final Chapter.😃
