Pandorum = Resident Evil but with a mind

I really liked Pandorum. It was basically Resident Evil in space but with a clever twist to it.

I recommend it.

The ship was shown to still be able provided nutrition for the people in hypersleep and its stated that the hunters lived off that. There was also water and algae shown around the ship.

They mentioned that ship was built to outlast their children's children. That implies that the ship can supply nutrient for that long. Yeah, that's kinda of a stretch.

As for the evolution part, the enzyme was stated to speed evolution. That actual exists among Darwin's Finches.

Pan forum was an awesome movie, totally concur. Don't however agree it's the same as resident evil...at all. You'll have to explain that one to me.

Yes, I 100% agree. Glad to know I'm not the only one who has a soft spot for Pandorum, such an underrated atmospheric sci-fi horror film. I love when sci-fi movies are set on a spaceship a la Alien, so this one definitely takes the cake for me. I'm actually one of the rare few who'd seen it in theaters, and I'm honestly glad I've gotten to see it.

I especially love the final twist at the end, I NEVER expected that, so I rank it alongside the twist ending to Planet of the Apes.

Also, I really wish they'd still done that prequel and sequel. The former which would've focused on Gallo's descent into madness before the first film, and the latter which I heard was to have been much like Aliens, with it set on the Tanis planet.
