Reminiscent of 'Unfaithful'

In many ways, I found "A Perfect Murder" more similar to "Unfaithful" with Richard Gere and Diane Lane than the original "Dial M for Murder".

For the record the film 'Unfaithful' was based on is 'La femme infidele' by Claude Chabrol. It came out in the late 1960s.

It's interesting you mentioned this because I watched Unfaithful a weekend before A Perfect Murder, purely by chance and without really knowing what A Perfect Murder was about. Having watched these two films by chance so closely was interesting.

They both had similar very ideas, however I agree Unfaithful was much slower-paced and had less impact than A Perfect Murder.

Unfaithful is by leaps and bounds a Better film.

Though I like a perfect murdwr very much -- the director of unfaithful is Amazing.

Both films are great, but I agree: unfaithful is an overall better film. Diane Lane was phenomenal. Plus she's more relatable and likeable than GP. Better directed too imho.
