Don Cheadle is extremely scary in this

Wow he really impressed me. I can't believe it's the same guy who was Paul Rusesabagina, even though he looks relatively the same in both movies.

And Isaiah Washington was also very frightening. He's just s total psychopath.

Another really great Don Cheadle performance is the one he gives in Devil in a Blue Dress. He plays a character named Mouse who is like Maurice if Maurice was nice.

I didn't even realize it was the same guy whenever I saw him in "Boogie Nights" (which I think came out the same year), and then his Paul Rusesabagina just blew me away. I love his performance in "Devil in a Blue Dress" too. He seems to never step wrong in his performances (except the shaky accent in the Ocean's movies), but Snoop and Paul are my 2 favorite performances of his. All the scenes with him and Clooney just verbally sparring back and forth are sooo good.

I think "Out of Sight" really is one of the most perfectly acted movies I've ever seen. Everyone from Clooney to Jennifer Lopez (pre J.Lo), to Catherine Keener, Steve Zahn, Albert Brooks, and Ving Rhames, everbody is perfect. I also doesn't hurt that the story is great and Elmore Leonard's dialog is kept in tact quite a bit, and Soderbergh gives everything just the right look, and just the right feel. One of the sadly overlooked movies of the 90's, I think.

Yeah he contorts his face a little in this one to look more gansta. He usually looks a little baby face. I forgot he was in this and remember thinking that that actor looks a lot like Don Cheadle.

He's also really menacing in his breakthrough role in 'Devil in A Blue Dress', where he plays a completely looney gangster.

I have seen a lot of his work but actually have not seen that. thx for the tip. And I don't agree that Mouse is sane, he's completely dillusional, kills one of Easy's former friends b/c of inconvenience, without thinking twice.

Don Cheadle's character in this film is great, but he is **really** scary in Devil in a Blue Dress. In fact, it you have ever read any of Walter Mosely's books, Mouse is in many of them and he really is sort of psycho, especially when it comes to wacking somebody -he's always hot to wack.

Imo Don Cheadle stole every scene he was in. Both he and Isaiah Washington were great in this movie. As mentioned, Cheadle was excellent in Devil in a Blue Dress also. I haven't seen him play this sort of character in a while. I'm sure he'd rather branch out into other roles but I think he is much cooler playing the "bad guy".

I shoot you! You go down!
