George and jennifer

i read somewhere aaaages ago where george talk about working with jlo (on out of sight) and how he hated it. I remember how he hated kissing her and how much a diva bitch she was.
Does anyone know where i can read it again?

reply

Oh come on. You can't always believe everything you read or hear. Anyway,on the DVD,I think Soderbergh said that they actually got along real well.

reply

I remember reading that in a tabloid years ago. It was a story about George in New York and he befriended some ordinary ladies and had dinner with them and I think ended up in their hotel room to continue drinking and talking. I don't know where to find the article though.

If anyone has even a passing knowledge of George Clooney's history in HW and out, they'd know that just like his buddies Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle and most of the people he associates with be it business or private, the man does not speak about who he likes and doesn't. Who he gets on with and doesnt etc etc and so on.

reply

i heard the opposit look at the behind the scene they did for E! it's on some Clooney fan site, he said that he loved working with her and that she was a pro on set.

And last year he did an interview for EW and they aske him what was his favorit scene to shoot, he said the trunk scene in Out of sight because he had to spend a day touching Jlo lol.

reply

The only way George would have said anything like that is if it was tongue in cheek. You know his humor, and I can totally imagine him saying it IF she was sitting right next to him. Of course, then things get transcripted and taken out of context, so you can't always believe everything you read/hear. I have a girlfriend who worked as a driver on the movie. She was asked who she'd want to drive, and of course she chose George! I think her exact words were, "Uh, duh." Well, she said he was the funniest and nicest guy you'd ever want to meet, never had a mean thing to say about anybody, except politicians of course, and the papparazzi. They're fair game.

Jennifer auditioned for this part
with George and Soderbergh at
Clooneys home and the chemistry
between them was so great-that she
was picked out of many other-but
then George has great chemistry with
everyone(male and female)and about
everyone wants to work him.
As Ellen Barkin said at the
American Cinematique-when George was
honored by them-If you don't have
chemistry with George-You need to
check your pulse.

reply

George Clooney always has chemistry with all the women he has worked with but that doesn't compare to the amazing, sparkling chemistry he had with Jennifer Lopez(am I right or wrong about that?) Chemistry like that,it can't be faked, man. George & Jen sizzled in this movie & I really hope that they reunite for another movie one day.

reply

I agree. If there was any problem between them it certainly didn't come across on screen.

Now take the weapons where I told you and wait for the G*d d*mn signal this time! Good byyye!

reply

You have to remember that this was when Lopez was basically unknown, not as huge as she is today. So she'd hardly be a diva then.

If everything is real... Then nothing is real aswell.

Really? Did you read the Movieline interview she did at that time? Her head was the size of a hot air balloon.

reply

Agreed! Normally I'm not a big fan of either Clooney or Lopez but I greatly enjoy this film for their scenes together. That is definitely chemistry.

reply

Yes, he supposedly told this story to a group of strippers when he was out drinking. He said kissing her was like kissing Hitler and so on. Whether he actually said that is a matter of debate but that's what the strippers said he said.
