How did they film so much water?

Is it special effects or was it filmed during extreme weather conditions?

if not now, when?

The entire movie was filmed inside an old airplane construction building. It is called a "Waterlogged" set. They sealed the enitre building, allowing them to raise and lower the water level for different parts of the movie.

The set also contained one of the largest painted backgrounds in the history of filmmaking.

In some scenes they actually sandbagged parts of the city to flood. My family is from this town. They attend the pictured church and my second uncle (grandmother's brother?) owns a fish and tackle shop there. Parts of the film, particularly with lower flood levels, were filmed in town with sandbags in place in along the streets.

I'm from Huntingburg, In as well... I was like 16 when they were filming, but my parents took me over to fourth street when they were flooding it.

I'm intolerant with tolerant people
