For 20 years Ive been eating ****, breakfast lunch and dinner. We'll tonight Im changing the menu... From now on everything I eat is gonna be **** free.

Are you being sarcastic about that? That was the cheesiest line in the entire movie, and it was a shame that a great actor like Randy Quaid had to say it.

You know, that line along with Betty White were the only two things about that movie I didn't like. Everything else was cool. I'm not a huge Christian Slater fan, but he did pretty well. A little too much like his character in "Broken Arrow", but nobody ever said he was an academy award winner. He might be! There is only two characters he's ever played that I have very much admired and those are Brian in "Gleaming the Cube" and Will Scarlett in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves".

I know this thread was started a long time ago, but I just found it. Since this dealt with a quote from the movie, I thought you might find something interesting. The town in HARD RAIN was Huntingburg Indiana and part of the movie was filmed in the town. Huntingburg is also where the Rockford Peaches stadium is from A League Of Their Own. So its where "THERES NO CRYING IN BASEBALL" was filmed.

I love that line but I think it should've ended at "Well, tonight I'm changing the menu." It's a far better punchline than the sh!t free line which is pretty bad.
