Definitely a classic in my mind but I don't think most people feel the same.

Feels like an episode of Chappelle's Show mixed with Billy Madison. That's why it's a cult classic.

Very much a cult classic for gen x stoners. I have no idea if the new kids took to it.

I disagree. I wasn't a pothead back when this movie came out, and I still appreciated the humor... Now, that being said, I AM a stoner now, so it's given me a good idea to rewatch it high to see if it's even more funny. :-P

Not on the level of something like The Big Lebowski, but it does resonate somewhat through the ages. Here we are, twenty-five years later, still talking about it
