Dissapointed

I borrowed this from a friend the other day and enjoyed the movie. While I was watching it I was thinking that after it was over I would look in the Special Features to see a gallery of Frida’s work. It wasn’t there.

I would think that it is a given if you are doing a biopic about an artist to include a gallery of their work in the special features on the DVD.

Oh well, good movie anyway.

I feel that just because they make the movie on the life of Frida Kahlo that they don't have to put some of Ms.Kahlo's works in the Special Features on the DVD. I mean what for? If you want to see some of Ms.Kahlo's works, go to the following link instead: http://members.aol.com/fridanet/kahlo.htm

Lots of private owners own her work and its hard to get them to share.

You can purchase books that have all of Frida's fascinating works of art in them. I own quite a few books/novels about Frida Kahlo and I have one where you can actually take the pictures of the paintings out and frame them, if you would want to do so. The book is quite large, portfolio size, and it's by Frank Milner. I got it as a gift from my Mother on my birthday years ago.
