So the "Paris Chanteuse" was supposed to be Josephine Baker, right? She looked like Baker, and it was Baker's song, so why not use her name in the cast list?

Yes, the chanteuse was supposed to represent Baker but they probably didn't want to make a direct reference to her to avoid lawsuits since there is no solid proof that the two had a fling.

I remember her in Sex and The City, she was one of Alexander Petrofsky's friends in France. I think she's beautiful. Her body is insanely athletic so I guess that's shy she comes off as 'manly' to you.
