Sexist

First of all, I don't NOT have a sense of humor, okay, the rest of the movie is fine. It's just that, how come men getting raped in prison by other men is supposed to be funny? They would never make fun of women getting raped...rape is a serious, violent crime, and just because it happens to a man doesn't make it funny. That's just sick and perverted.

reply

I think the fact that it is in a movie that isn't NOT not real life, makes it funny.

I agree rape isn't funny, unless you are raping a clown.

reply

that is the best joke ever. i love it.

reply

Clown rape is not funny. See Kevin Smith's film VULGAR.

reply

No wait, you missed something. Norm's character actually DOES get raped in this movie. Watch that scene again.

[deleted]

They don't show it, but of course it happened. The proof is that the character comes back in pain and rubbing his butt and saying "ow" and stuff about "humiliation". What else could it be that he's talking about?

Anyway, I didn't say that a movie is bad for showing or talking about rape, I said that it's not something to joke about, it's not funny.

Thanks.

He Got raped, I laughed.. Now I'm gonna go watch it again and laugh some more....

You don't look anything like the ad... You better be huge.

reply

Exactly. He got raped, and he was crackin on himself. Wouldn't it be a happier world if everyone took it in stride like he did? And I wonder how many women report girl on girl rapes, anually.

[deleted]

you have no sense of humour. also you need to lighten up.

reply

I think you're right. They should have made fun of female prison rape, too, to compensate.

reply

i agree.

reply

The raping scene was the funniest.

reply

What a shame it was cut, then.

reply

If I remember correctly, a couple of guys are sitting in jail and telling each other how they don't want to be victims. How many guys thrown into a jail cell with other men wouldn't have that cross their minds?

Life-the most fatal disease. :P

[deleted]

That's so funny.

reply

It is not the rape that is funny. It is Norms reaction to it, or rather lack of it. He act more like if they threw water on him, or gave him a wedgie.

We can't stop here! This is Bat-country!

He said that the anal rape hurt the most. "Anal rape" was changed to "the other thing" in later versions of the movie.

reply

He did get a wedgie, sort of. Problem is, this wedgie kept going.

reply

"He did get a wedgie, sort of. Problem is, this wedgie kept going. "

LOL. bravo! :-)

"That's Tron. He fights for the Users."

Nothing's sacred in comedy, and people who are sensitive probably shouldn't watch anything Norm MacDonald does.

reply

Political correctness is the enemy of comedy. 'Nuff said. Which was a funnier show? "All in the Family" or "The Brady Bunch." I don't know why male rape is funny, whereas female rape is not, but it's not worth getting on a soapbox and screaming out "Sexism!" Hell, women are already available to much less opportunities than men, and this is a very small price to pay on our part.

reply

Here here Studioalex...you hit the nail on the head. Nothing's sacred in comedy. Watching a movie about revenge for hire, and finding something offensive...HOLY CRAP!! NO WAY!!!.

All I have to say about that is, "ridiculous...just ridiculous!"
