I find it interesting that the main character in this fairly light-hearted comedy gets anally raped. Can anyone think of any other instance in a movie where rape is treated in such a comedic manner? I feel like the only reason there's no outrage about this is because it happened to a man. Can you imagine if it was a woman? I don't think they could have possibly gotten away with it.

not a straight comedy film from start to finish but the rape scene in question is probably one of the most comedic scenes in the whole film
In There's Something About Mary it's pretty well implied that Ted is raped while in prison.
shareIts Norm MacDonald. I don't think any Norm fans from the 90s would expect a Norm movie not to have a prison anal rape joke in it. Anal rape jokes were his trademark on SNL for those old enough to remember the good old days of Norm anchoring Weekend Update.

Somehow he usually got away with it because you just expected that kind of stuff from him lol

As for women, Betty Child's in Revenge of the Nerds was raped for comedic effect; they softened by having her enjoy it.
