Filming Location?

Going to Ireland in October, and would like to visit film sites. Anyone know where the cottage and village are? Thanks.

Lughnasa was filmed at The Sally Gap in County Wicklow. I was there during the filming.

The outdoor scenes certainly look more like Wicklow than Donegal, and the village looks like a set to me.

The original story was set in Glenties, which is a beautiful spot and well worth a visit.
