Im really sorry if this is odd, but what is an egg, I know its the thing that comes out of a chicken, but is it a baby chick? I have been told that it is a chicken periord, which makes sence. Can anyone confirm that.
Homer Simpson: Hey, we didn't have a message on our answering machine when we left. How very odd.
Okay, I'm very sorry if my answer is wrong. I forgot about this movie, but as I know, after a chicken lays its eggs, she could keep it warm for about 3 weeks and chicks will come out from the eggs, OR, farm keepers took it and sell it into the market. So, if the egg is not "sitten down" by its adult (for 3 weeks), there won't be a chick coming out from the egg.
Hens lay eggs whether they've been fertilized or not, just as humans do (monthly period). Chicken farms have hen houses to keep the hens seperated from the rooster, so the eggs don't get fertilized, and can be sold at market. The roosters in the film are not kept seperate, but I assume this is due to the hens cunning ingenuity and that the farmers are unaware of their comingling.
