dumb ass

The chicken came first because if the egg came first there would be no mother to keep it warm and it wouldn't hatch.

An age old mystery....

Following " eight_miles_high " 's logic, how could a cold-blooded (reptilian, obviously) lizard hatch a chicken egg?
Are you indeed arguing for the hypothesis of punctuated equilibrium?

reply

Chickens can lay eggs all day long without a Rooster.

However, the eggs will never form into chicks and hatch.
The Rooster must fertilize the eggs for chicks to develop.

My mom keeps about 30-50 chickens.
