Here's a question. At the end of the movie were we see all the chickens in the Chicken Sanctuary with all those little chicks running around, Im guessing that since Rocky is the only young rooster there, that all of them must be his(with Ginger Im guessing) So then this place has a pretty small gene pool if Rocky and Ginger ae the only ones having these chicks. How then will their be another generation of free chickens?
shareNormally, in real barnyard scenarios, only one rooster is needed, to sire chicks with ALL the hens in a coop.
While you wrap your head around that one, consider that before Rocky came along, FOWLER was the only rooster.

EDIT: Okay, I know I'm sad...But I watched this again. Some of the chicks have Fowler's eyes and Bunty's...er..."hair" so maybe some belong to those two? We know Bunty has a soft spot for Fowler from the way she encourages him to be a pilot. And she was the one who pulled him into the midst of the "hop". Any thoughts??

Fowler, being the only rooster amongst the hens probably sired many of the hens in that coop; notice how the females immediately swarm Rocky when they realize there's a new male amongst them - since Fowler's old and out of commission they've probably been deprived of intimacy for a long time!
