if you like Chicken Run so much then you will like the film Flushed Away which is also made by Aardman
shareIt wasn't really. Flushed Away is a Dreamworks film, made while it had a ery uncomfortable alliance with Aardman. Aardman severed its ties with Dreamworks around the ame time.
I'm glad it did, but sadly the experience seems to have taken the wind out of Aardman's sails. It's done so little since then.
You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
I rate it 8/10.
I rewatched it, last year. I wanted to watch a short movie, so I picked this one out from my DVD library. Besides, it's been years since I last seen this one. It is very funny. It made me laugh out loud. There were tons of highlights in the movie. Like the scene, when Mr. Tweedy sees the chickens doing pushups. He turns his head to tell Mrs. Tweedy about it. When he looks back, the chickens were pecking the ground instead. Mrs. Tweedy responds to this, by hitting him in the head with her clipboard.
But my favorite part was when Ginger finds the bottom part of the Rocky's poster and puts it up with the rest of poster. That sequence was very powerful. It definitely made me want to see what Rocky left for her. You don't see it, until Ginger makes the poster whole again. The missing part of the puzzle was a cannon. That was his secret for flying. When the poster became whole again, a thunderclap happens, along with some lightning. Rain begins to sprinkle on the chickens. All the chickens could do was to stare at poster in shock and despair. Then it begins to rain very hard and it shows Ginger's spoon in the hole under the fence- her very first attempt on escaping. They are back, where they started.
