Ginger's Accent?

I noticed that Ginger pronounces grass as it's spelt, as is done in northern England, but says chance with a long ah/arr pronunciation like in London and the south. Just seems strange - maybe there's a regional accent somewhere that does this but I haven't come across it - I would guess somewhere in the midlands.

I noticed that too. It's no accent I've ever come across.

Ginger is Julia Sawalha, she was well-known in the role of Saffy in Absolutely Fabulous. Born 9 September 1968, Wandsworth, London, England, UK.

Being from the South of England myself I've noticed some people pronounce words for example 'last' as it's spelt whilst some will pronounce it with an 'r'.

It's more enunciation based than dialect I think.

"im beautiful your not" - me
"you're* " - you
