No where near as hot as Diaz. Are you kidding? with that huge nose bulge?
shareDiaz was pretty for like 10 minutes, but resembled a sun-baked frog for most of her career. Keener was incredibly alluring in this film.

I read somewhere that Cameron Diaz took the role because because she wanted to play a Plain Jane role. She wasn't that unattractive even without makeup and the fright wig. Catherine Keener was fantastic although she reminded me of Linda Fiorentino's man-eating seductress in "The Last Seduction." I might add that Linda would have probably done a great job playing Keener's Maxine Lund character.
