The film, i thought was really flat in storyline. It didn't make you worry for the characters, it didn't make a lot of antisipation when the little kid decide's to fly the plane. Really a downer.

it was based on the lives of 3 real brothers, it was suposed to be a documentary style story and made for families to see not to have a huge plot and to be judged. i loved it but when youre family and 1 of the stars in the movies family are very close then you learn things that people normally dont. its just a movie good plot or bad plot when it came out every girl wanted to see it. i remember sitting in the theatre watching it and looking around to see every 14 yr old girl in there with their families. Thats what they wanted to happen
i own it and have a signed poster from the premier :)
As was posted above, this film was based on a true story. It was not supposed to be a Hollywood blockbuster but was intended to be a recreation of Marty, Mark and Marshall's adventures. All three grew up to film wild life and are quite well known for their documentaries by the same name as the movie. I really enjoyed this film and felt that it was anything but a downer, especially as it was based on a real story.
